1. Scope and limitations
The Chivalry Test is an educational self-reflection quiz. Its five pillars are an editorial framework created for this website, not a scientifically validated psychological assessment.
2. Historical sourcing
We separate medieval history from modern interpretation. Historical claims should be supported by a named primary source, academic publication, university scholar, museum, or comparable institution.

3. Quiz methodology
The quiz has 20 scenarios: four for each of Courtesy, Respect, Integrity, Generosity, and Accountability. Each of the four options receives a value from one to four. The program converts those values to pillar percentages and an overall result in the visitor’s browser.
The score describes the choices made during that attempt. It does not measure intelligence, mental health, professional suitability, or a fixed personality trait.
4. Independence and advertising
Advertisers and affiliate partners do not determine quiz scores or editorial conclusions. Advertising, when present, is visually separated from the site’s content.
5. Editorial tools and review
Drafting and translation tools may assist with structure and language. Historical claims are checked against the linked sources, and Chivalry Test remains accountable for the published text. Automated tools are not treated as historical authorities.
6. Corrections
