How the score is calculated
The free Chivalry Test contains 20 real-life scenarios, with four prompts contributing to each pillar. Each response earns a value from 1 to 5. The browser calculates each pillar percentage and combines the five pillar results into an overall score. Your answers are processed locally and are not sent to our server.
Score ranges in plain language
85–100: Consistent role model
Your answers show strong consistency across everyday respect, follow-through, honesty, and consideration. Look for the lowest pillar rather than assuming there is nothing left to practice.
70–84: Strong foundation
You demonstrate chivalrous habits in many situations, with a few contexts where stress, convenience, or conflict may change your response. Choose one repeatable habit in the lowest pillar.
50–69: Developing consistency
Your intentions and actions may not always match. Improvement usually comes from smaller reliable behaviors—listening fully, keeping commitments, admitting mistakes, and offering help without controlling the outcome.
Below 50: Useful starting point
This is not a judgment of your worth. It indicates several habits worth examining. Start with one situation you encounter weekly and define what a respectful response would look like before it happens.
Read the five pillar scores
- Courtesy: attention, manners, punctuality, and consideration in ordinary interactions.
- Respect: listening, boundaries, consent, and equal dignity across roles and differences.
- Integrity: truthfulness and consistency between promises, values, and actions.
- Generosity: sharing time, credit, help, and encouragement without entitlement.
- Accountability: owning impact, repairing mistakes, and following through.
How to improve without gaming the test
- Identify your lowest pillar.
- Choose one observable behavior, such as arriving on time or apologizing without excuses.
- Practice it in a specific recurring situation for two weeks.
- Ask a trusted person for concrete feedback.
- Retake the test only after practicing; answer based on behavior, not the score you want.
